About Alda Ellis - founder of Alda's Forever
Products

Alda's Forever was founded in 1989 by Alda Ellis
along with her husband William "Buddy" Ellis.
After making the decision to resign from her job as
a dental hygienist and become a stay at home mom, Alda began making soaps with pictures on them to
give friends and family. The designs on soap would
wash off after just one use, and Alda decided there
must be a way for the soap to retain its original
beauty. Using her general chemistry background, she
developed (and later patented) a technique that
adheres a design to soap until the bar is credit
card thin.
In addition to running her business, Alda is an
author, speaker, art collector, as well as becoming
an expert home renovator, of which her greatest
endeavor has been her historic 1918 home. Alda has
published over ten books, and spends much of her
time attending in-store book signings and speaking
to business and women's groups to inspire women to
reach for their goals. Alda and her company have
been featured in Nation's Business Magazine,
Romantic Homes, Southern Lady, Active Years,
Inspirational Giftware, and Giftware Business. She
has also been a guest on numerous television and
radio shows throughout the United States.
Alda is an avid collector of Victorian ephemera
(paper). This tender, romantic art from the turn of
the century is featured in products her company now
offers, including books, personal care, and soap and
candle designs. This art form has also been licensed
by various greeting card companies.
While she is not travelling, Alda enjoys spending
quality time with her husband and two sons at their
home. Alda also has three dogs, three horses, two
geese, and one very feisty rooster. Alda's historic
1918 home, located on Red Oak Hill in Little Rock,
Arkansas, was built by Arkansas¹ first pediatrician.
The home (and matching guest bunk-house) was
featured in "At Home in Arkansas" magazine.
Alda Ellis is a successful entrepreneur, speaker,
artist, and author. She is the founder and president
of Alda’s Forever, a company she owns with her
husband, William.
Through her company, she sells Friendship for the
Cure balls with instructions for self-exams tucked
inside, and Pearl of Promise pendants with a tiny
pearl dangling from the pink breast cancer awareness
ribbon. Through the sale of these items, Alda has
contributed over $90,000 to the Susan G. Komen
Foundation’s Arkansas affiliate. Her other books
include A Gentle Beauty Within, A Heart Full of
Happiness, Listen to the Quiet, An Angel in My
Garden, and Always Friends.
Alda has been featured in several publications
including Southern Lady, Victoria, Inspriational
Giftware, as well as television and radio shows such
as The 700 Club, Arkansas Today, Fox Home Show,
Among Friends, and HomeLife.
Alda, William and their two sons live in Little
Rock, Arkansas.
